Pork chop grilled with applesauce

Premium pork chop with freshly prepared applesauce. 
So...Why combine pork & applesauce? Apparently this is an ancient recipe where acidity of apples helps the digestion of fat meat such as pork making this a wonderful pair.
I know... green peas... This is to make this a more balanced meal so here it goes!
(p.s. pork chop will be cut bite sized pieces for ease of serving)
